888‘s Mr. Green is under Danish enforcement action for violating the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
The Danish Gambling Authority has deemed Mr. Green’s risk assessment “insufficient” and has instructed the operator to submit a revised assessment by June 10.
The regulator, Spillemyndigheden, stated that Mr. Green does not have adequate procedures for internal controls, as these do not describe the interval at which controls should be performed.
Mr. Green is required to submit a revised internal controls business procedure and detailed monitoring procedures for control implementation, according to the regulator.
Spillemyndigheden assesses that the risk assessment must include a separate assessment of the risk of the individual payment solutions and delivery channels, as well as a separate risk assessment of the risk factors associated with these.
