ACMA continues crackdown on illegal gambling sites

Australia’s media and telecommunication administration has recently announced the restriction of six new illicit gaming and marketing operations.

The country’s ACMA has recently published a small list of six unauthorized foreign gaming and affiliate marketing websites. With the help of local telecommunications firms the felonious companies will be getting blocked from Australia.

As a result of a lengthy and thorough investigation, the officials exposed the following operators and affiliates as being in violation of 2001’s Interactive Gambling Act: LegitGamblingSites.com, Extra Vegas, Casino Moons, Gamblers Lab, Win Paradise and Winnerama.

After revealing the newest offenders, the government agency reminded consumers to always check that the online gambling establishments they play at are fully registered and legitimate, as black-market businesses are often missing paramount protections and possess a greater risk of life-changing financial loss.

Furthermore, the ACMA also mentioned that since 2019 they have limited access to over 550 unlawful organizations by obstructing access to their websites, which is just one of their tools to regulate the industry and protect Australians.
