betJack donates $20k to celebrate launch of Ohio wagering

betJack recently donated 20 thousand dollars to a charity in celebration of the first wagers in Ohio’s newly launched regulated sports betting market.

Being headquartered in the Buckeye state, the operator made a commitment to give back to its local community in celebration of Ohio’s newly opened regulated iGaming market. The firm pledged to match up to 20 thousand dollars and donate the total amount of bets placed in the first two hours of the regulated jurisdiction’s opening to a local charity that aims to make sports accessible to disadvantaged people.

The experiment was a success and the firm ended up surpassing its goal. betJack donated the 20 thousand dollars to Special Olympics Ohio.

We are delighted to be one of the first charities to collaborate with betJack to celebrate the launch of Ohio’s regulated gambling market and give back to the state’s community. We plan on putting the funds to good use to improve the lives of our athletes.

remarked the chief executive officer and president of Special Olympics Ohio, Jessica Stewart.

We are excited to celebrate the launch of our home state’s regulated iGaming market in a philanthropic way, and we are looking forward to having a bigger positive impact in the future.

commented the president of JACK Entertainment, Brian Eby.
