The leading online gambling and betting company has recently announced about their partnership with the football team Arizona Cardinals. Under the terms of the agreement, the bookmaker will run a retail sportsbook at the team’s home stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The stadium in question is the State Farm Stadium, which is an NFL stadium with a capacity of over 63 thousand attendants. The operator will be running the sportsbook on the premises of the stadium, on both game days and off days. BetMGM’s establishment will feature a 24 square meter video screen and a number of TVs to watch games that are being bet on, as well as a number of dining options, both inside and outside.
BetMGM’s chief executive Adam Greenblatt commented:
We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with the legendary sports team and deliver a new experience to their fans. Our sportsbook is going to be a one-of-a-kind establishment that no other NFL stadium has ever had. We are looking forward to entertaining sports fans with the team.
Michael Bidwill, the owner of the Arizona Cardinals, said:
We are honored to have this opportunity to have the first NFL stadium with such amenities that are going to provide our fans with a thrilling experience. The sportsbook will enable us to entertain our fans during the entirety of a year, as it will be operational on non-game days as well.
The retail operation will be adding to BetMGM’s online offering in the state when it launches on the 11th of September.
