The LKF and Betsafe‘s agreement, which is owned by Betsson, announced that it would be extended. The primary sponsor of the Lithuanian men’s national basketball team has been Betsafe for a very long time.
LTU Basketball Head, Vydas Gedvilas commented:
We are delighted with enduring companionship with Betsafe, which began over a decade ago, just before the FIBA World Cup 2010. During this time, we have celebrated many remarkable triumphs, and we are more than confident that together we will continue in the same way.

We put effort into the progress of the LKF because it is a valued companion in Lithuania and generally, this sport holds a particular place among the Lithuanian fans.
The team will play in the approaching FIBA World Cup, planned to be held in Asian locations. This prestigious tourney involves battling for top places and the championship, but also getting opportunities for taking part in the coming year’s Olympic Games.

This championship is a crucial occasion waiting for us. With an extensive preparation period and a long journey to Asia on the horizon, we are committed to being fully prepared and targeted at accomplishing our objectives.
On July 12, the inaugural training of the team will take place in Druskininkai, and on July 17, a second training will be held in Palanga. Prior to the FIBA, the basketball squad has scheduled ten exhibition games.
