Betsson reported record revenue of €326.5 million in Q3of 2026, up 10% year-on-year, as casino growth and strong performance in Latin America offset weaker sportsbook margins and declining B2B licensing income. Higher gaming taxes and payment costs weighed on profitability, with operating profit falling 31% (€46.1 million).
According to the company’s interim report published on October 22, organic revenue growth reached 8%, while active B2C customers increased 40% to a record 1.9 million.
The casino sector brought in revenue reaching €253.5 million, which is a 13.7% increase year-on-year. About 77% of all revenue from the group came from casino operations, as opposed to 75% of the revenue in Q3 2025. Betsson’s gaming solutions reported operations bringing in €9.48 billion in casino turnover for the period, and the company added a total of 478 new casino games, including 40 exclusive titles, for the quarter.
The sportsbook division reported growth of 0.8%, bringing in €71.8 million, despite turnover rising by 8.1%. The sportsbook margin declined from 8.8% a year ago and 10.5% in Q2 2026 to only 8.1% now.
Betsson president and CEO Pontus Lindwall shared that the impressive revenue results were quite significant after recording such a low margin for the sportsbook operations.
Betsson’s largest region has been Latin America so far, which accounted for 36% of the group’s total revenue. Collections amounted to €116.1 million, backed by solid results in Argentina, Peru, and Colombia. Western Europe performed quite well too, with revenue rising by 13.8% to €64.8 million. Italy posted its best revenue outcome to date, while Belgium’s figures were lower both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter. The company discontinued its betFIRST brand in the region in the last quarter.
CEECA revenue fell 16.8% to €99.2 million, partly because of lower B2B licensing income. However, the company reported growth in its B2C operations in Croatia, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Nordic revenue declined 10% to €32.7 million, with Sweden and Denmark both down.
Betsson successfully purchased Rhino Entertainment Group in early August 2023, which allowed it to operate in the B2C sector in Ontario and other Canadian markets and brought additional technology assets that enhance the potential to earn revenue from the B2B licensing.
The interim report provides a preliminary purchase price of €73.1 million on a cash-free and debt-free basis with goodwill in the amount of €47.8 million. When the transaction was announced in March, Betsson suggested an approximate purchase price of €64.5 million.
The average daily revenue of Betsson during Q4 as of October 18, 2023, was 11% higher than the average daily revenue for the total Q4 2025. After excluding currency impact and acquisitions, the growth rate equals 9.4%.
The company announced that sportsbook publishers in the beginning of the quarter face a considerably lower margin than it could be observed in previous eight quarters.
Lindwall said:
With a scalable business model, attractive products and strong market positions, we are well positioned to return to earnings growth and continue creating long-term value for our shareholders.
The Q3 results underline the contrast between Betsson’s expanding customer base and record revenue on one hand, and mounting profitability pressures from taxes, costs and lower B2B licensing income on the other.
