Bloomberry expands digital gaming with new platform in 2025

Bloomberry Resorts Corporation plans to roll out a new electronic gaming platform by Q2 2025, aiming to recover losses from the exit of Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs).

Chairman and CEO Enrique Razon shared that the platform is undergoing final testing and is expected to launch by late May or early June. It will complement Bloomberry’s existing Solaire Online platform and strengthen its position in the mass market gaming segment.

Razon explained that digital gaming is now a major focus for Bloomberry as it seeks to rebuild revenues impacted by last year’s POGO ban. He also emphasized that digital operations will be a key long-term growth driver alongside land-based casinos.

Meanwhile, Bloomberry is investing heavily in its upcoming Solaire North resort to support domestic market expansion. Razon expressed optimism about the Philippine economy, referencing government forecasts of 6–8% annual GDP growth through 2028.

With rising incomes and new tourism initiatives such as tax refunds for visitors, Bloomberry expects stronger discretionary spending to benefit the gaming sector. The company’s strategic priorities include revitalizing Solaire Entertainment City, achieving profitability at Solaire North, and growing its digital gaming footprint.
