FanDuel has gotten into a partnership with Boyd Gaming to rebrand the latter’s sportsbook in Las Vegas.
Boyd Gaming is a large hospitality company that operates a number of casinos in Las Vegas, which offer retail and online sports betting. They have recently signed a contract with the sportsbook operator FanDuel to rebrand the sports book in one of their establishments, the famous Fremont Hotel-Casino.
The latter company is an American corporation that provides a number of gambling products, mainly sports books. They currently do not have a license to work in Nevada on their own, despite having over half a decade of experience running fantasy betting in the state, before Nevada’s government decided to put a halt to their business in 2015.
The deal will involve the casino’s sportsbook being officially branded by Fanduel, alongside them being the main supplier of the odds. Despite that, the casino will still be the one managing the operation.
This deal is not the only one between the two corporations, however, as the operator is set to run more sports wagering operations for its partner in eight states next year.
