Dan Taylor has succeeded Peter Jackson as the CEO of Flutter. On October 1, 2026, Taylor became the Group Chief Executive of Flutter, taking over the role from Peter Jackson after he left the position on September 30, 2026, after nearly nine years of being in charge of the company.
Dan Taylor has been associated with Flutter since 2015 and was working as the President and CEO of the organization’s International division at the time of his appointment. He spoke of the various prospects available for Flutter to grow as a company.
Taylor wrote:
I wouldn’t swap our hand for anyone else’s. We have exceptional brands, fantastic products, hugely talented teams, and a deep understanding of our customers and markets.
Peter Jackson will remain with Flutter as an advisor till the end of 2026 so that he can help the company transition during this period.
Flutter Chair John Bryant said:
The Board is pleased to appoint Dan as Flutter’s next Group Chief Executive Officer. Bryant added that the board had “every confidence that he is the right person to lead Flutter into its next phase of growth.
As CEO of Flutter, Dan Taylor also expressed his gratitude to Jackson for all the help he has given him.
Having been part of the Betfair board since 2013, Jackson eventually became the chief executive officer of Paddy Power Betfair after its merger.
Jackson wrote in his farewell message:
We took a chance on FanDuel when plenty of people thought we were slightly crazy. We brought Paddy Power Betfair and The Stars Group together just as Covid hit.
With his appointment as the new CEO, Dan Taylor will have to manage the International division of Flutter as well as FanDuel in his new position.
