The multi-industry company has been associated with growth into the betting market for a while now as Chapek recently stated that Disney reached different betting platforms for the release. According to him, ESPN sports broadcasting was an ideal channel for their business to move into the betting industry.

Lately, he spoke to a fan at the D23 expo saying that the industry is their main focus right now.

If you are selling your house and a hundred people are interested it means that your house is pretty great.

Chapek talked about having a hundred inquiries from parties.

It is important to note that with ESPN, Disney already has a place in the market, which was launched two years ago and has linked deals with well-known brands like William Hill and DraftKings.

Based on those contracts ESPN promoted daily fantasy sport of DraftKings and for William Hill it has been showcasing its betting odds.
