Evoke to appoint Anne Sewell as Chief People Officer

Evoke Plc has appointed Anne Sewell as its new Chief People Officer (CPO).

Sewell, an expert in managing global HR transformation projects for large-scale enterprises, joins Evoke’s executive team from Dentsu, where she served as the CPO for Asia’s largest advertising and media conglomerate.

In an update to investors, Evoke highlighted Sewell’s proven track record, noting her leadership in HR projects and transformation programs for SKY and the Kraft Heinz Company.

Sewell will now lead Evoke’s global HR strategy, succeeding former CPO Mark Skinner, who has transitioned to a new role outside the industry.

Per Widerström, CEO of Evoke, stated:

I am delighted to welcome Anne as our new Chief People Officer to strengthen our first-class executive team. With an impressive track record and extensive experience in creating winning cultures, we are confident she is the right person to advance our people strategy and help us unlock the full potential of our colleagues worldwide. I would also like to thank Mark Skinner, who is leaving the Group for a new opportunity outside the industry. Over his eight years with us, he played a pivotal role in developing our HR functions and significantly contributed to integrating colleagues from 888 and William Hill. We wish him well for the future.

Anne Sewell commented:

I am thrilled to take on this global role with Evoke and work alongside Per and his team. This is a very exciting time for our business, and I look forward to contributing to Evoke’s future success.
