FanDuel will make a $100,000 donation to the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA), a nonprofit organization that accredits and provides grants to approved organizations that provide care, retraining, and rehoming for retired racehorses.
The donation will be made at the FanDuel Kentucky Derby Party in Louisville on May 2.
Andrew Moore, general manager of Racing at FanDuel, said:
The Kentucky Derby is a celebration of tradition, energy, and unforgettable moments. Horse racing is where FanDuel got its start, and it remains a central part of who we are as a company. Between the iconic FanDuel Party and our donation to the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, we look forward to making FanDuel’s presence known in Louisville.
TAA President Walt Robertson added:
For five years, FanDuel has generously supported Thoroughbred Aftercare and the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance through an annual donation. TAA is pleased to continue receiving donations in 2025 and is grateful for FanDuel’s continued support.
Shabouzi will be headlining the FanDuel Kentucky Derby party in the Paristown Arts and Entertainment District. Last year, the 150th edition of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs broke records for the number of hands.
