International Game Technology is buying iSoftBet by paying 160 million euros in cash.
Both brands entered into this agreement this year during April. With this deal IGT will have twice more of its content library.
In accordance with this deal IGT’s PlayDigital catalog will have almost 225 games. With the help of iSoftBet’s platform, IGT’s interactive arm is going to expand and the brand will have the opportunity to produce third-party games. Besides IGT will be offered some of the provider’s tools.
“By purchasing iSoftBet we will be given a variety of complementary features such as content, tools, analytics, data and many more. Additionally PlayDigital is going to be improved by having content portfolio from both Europe and North America,”
explained Sadusky IGT’s chief executive officer.
Sandusky had the responsibility to oversee the development of their new profile, marking his first merger and acquisition under his leadership; he praised iSoftBet’s “market-proven” content.
During this whole process Oakvale Capital was the main financial advisor, alongside Lipton, Rosen & Katz working as advisors.
