International Game Technology PLC has declared the extension of its contract with UAB Perlas Network (“Perlas”) through its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, for an additional 12 years until 2035.
The renewed agreement encompasses the provision of upgrades to the Lottery’s central retail system, encompassing advanced software and user interfaces.
Having been a loyal customer of IGT since 1994, the Lottery’s association with the company continues to evolve. In 2023, IGT took a significant step by entering into a contract with Euloto UAB, a dependent company of Perlas, to implement its cutting-edge cloud-based remote game server. Furthermore, the agreement entails the introduction of a minimum of 12 eInstant games annually.
Mindaugas Marcinkevičius, CEO of UAB Perlas Network, expressed that the integration of IGT technology into Perlas’ central system will contribute to optimizing and enhancing the country’s most popular and thrilling lottery games. He eagerly anticipates the implementation of IGT’s upgrades and is delighted to extend the successful partnership for another 12 years.
Jay Gendron, Chief Operating Officer Global Lottery at IGT, remarked on the technology enhancements for Perlas, emphasizing that they leverage IGT’s decades of leadership and experience in the lottery industry. The upgraded technology will introduce an administration portal, providing the Lottery with a comprehensive view and control over all applications and back-office functions. This, in turn, is expected to enhance efficiencies and maximize profitability for the Lottery.
