Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) finds 13 operators failing to comply with the requirements.
Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has contacted operators over alleged breaches of the country’s payout rules after an investigation found that 13 of them may have failed to comply with license requirements. The investigation found that nine operators had prevented customers from being paid out, while four were suspected of doing so.
Earlier in March, the regulator sent a reminder to operators, noting that the Dutch Gambling Act requires players’ payout requests to be honoured immediately and without conditions. This means that operators cannot set minimum payout amounts or wagering requirements.
The KSA ordered all 13 providers to confirm in writing that they do not set minimum withdrawal amounts or other requirements.
A spokesman at KSA said:
A provider cannot set structural conditions that prevent direct payment. Players’ credits must therefore be repaid without unnecessary delay. However, the KSA is receiving signals that online gambling providers do set conditions for the payment of credits to players.
