Light and Wonder appoints interim CEO as Barry Cottle leaves the company.

The gambling provider Light and Wonder has recently announced about the departure of the chief executive of the company, Barry Cottle. His duties will be temporarily fulfilled by the corporation’s vice president and head of gaming Matt Willson.

The group stated that they have already started the search process to find Cottle’s long term replacement. Additionally, they mentioned that their search is being assisted by a leading executive hiring specialist. The firm also mentioned that they are taking into consideration candidates that are already working for LNW, as well as external people.

Commenting on the high-level leadership shakeup, the chair of the business, Jamie Odell stated:

Odell also commented on the appointment of the new interim chief executive, saying:

Lastly, Matt Willson commented on his new interim position, stating:

It is an honor to have the opportunity to fulfill the duties of the interim chief executive during this transitional time for our firm. I am excited to work with our team in this new position to improve and expand towards our strategic goals and growth targets.

With this announcement, the organization also restated its fiscal forecasts for the upcoming three years. The business mentioned that it’s still targeting an annual compound growth rate of about 15% till the year 2025.
