Maryland’s six casinos brought in $169.8 million in gaming revenue in July, down 2.6% from July 2023 but up 4.2% from June 2024. All six casinos reported year-over-year revenue declines.
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Commission reported that MGM National Harbor led the way with $72 million in revenue, followed by Live! Casino & Hotel with $62.6 million. Horseshoe Casino brought in $13.3 million, Ocean Downs Casino $9.6 million, Hollywood Casino Perryville $7.3 million, and Rocky Gap Casino $5 million.
Horseshoe Casino Baltimore saw the largest revenue decline compared to July 2023, down 16.9% year-over-year. The casino’s state contributions were $72.2 million, down 1.4%. The Education Trust Fund received $52 million.
