Betfred and DraftKings have recently marked the latest additions to Maryland’s iGaming market.
Betfred has already launched its operation in the state in the form of a retail betting establishment. It has been live since the 18th of the month in a temporary location while the bookmaker is waiting for its permanent property to get finalized.
Their permanent establishment is going to offer an exquisite atmosphere to its patrons with a number of differing seating options, a rich beverage menu and a video wall where everyone at the property will be able to watch the most exciting sports events together.
DraftKings, on the other hand, is launching an online sports wagering app, which is set to go live in a couple of days on the 23rd of November. It will feature a wide selection of betting options, ensuring that users are always entertained.
To get their regulatory green lights both firms had to pass a test period and pay a near half a million licensing fee to the fairly recently finalized regulatory program offered by the state’s gambling commission.
