Polymarket launches new user protection and responsible trading tools

Polymarket announced new and improved user protection as well as responsible trading features.

These new features include voluntary self-exclusion and a system of deposit limitations created for users suffering from compulsive trading practices.

The prediction market is also setting up a Trust and Safety team to supervise all of these initiatives on Polymarket’s international platforms, as well as its US division, including the publication of new community rules and content regulation standards.

Additionally, Polymarket teamed up with Birches Health, which is the biggest provider of behavioural and process addictions treatment, in order to improve the access of the users to the psychological services for compulsive traders.

Malea Otranto, global head of trust and safety at Polymarket, said:

People should be able to set their own limits, step away on their own terms, and know what the rules are. That is what launched today, and it is the floor, not the ceiling. We’re excited to continue to build out from here.

The prediction market is also creating a number of educational materials aimed at training the users in responsible trading practices.
