Aztec Blaze is the latest release by Pragmatic Play, featuring an ancient theme and symbols
The leading iGaming developer Pragmatic Play has recently published their latest title with an ancient Aztec theme and accompanying symbols, Aztec Blaze.
The new title is a classic slot game with a 6 by 4 reel layout. The symbols are of various animals such as snakes and crocodiles. It features 25 paylines, requiring matching symbols to award a win. Additionally, there is also a wild symbol that can be a substitute for all of the game’s symbols, except for the scatter symbol.
The game features a unique large symbols mechanic, allowing symbols to grow in size to take up an up to 4 by 4 grid. They start out at a size of only 2 by 2 and grow with each win. Furthermore, large symbols also add a multiplier with each size increase, maxing out at 10x.
Lastly, the scatter symbol also hides a unique gameplay mechanic. If the player lands two of them, they will be awarded with a free spin. Each one will start with five pay lines, although they will decrease with each round if no prize is awarded. Moreover, large symbols will still be present, though their multipliers will stay on the reels.
