Predict brings Polymarket prediction markets to Telegram

A third-party app called Predict has launched in order to allow users to trade on Polymarket prediction markets directly from the Telegram messaging app.

By using the Predict with Polymarket mini-app and bot, users can access contracts tied to sporting events, politics and cryptocurrency markets. Predict sources real-time market data and pricing from Polymarket so that users of Telegram can engage with prediction markets without leaving the app.

As detailed in the Predict Terms of Use, Predict and Polymarket are independent entities and the service offered through Predict will be governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands.

Predict’s Terms of Use list a number of restricted jurisdictions, such as Russia, the United States and the United Kingdom. Additionally, Predict says “any attempt to circumvent geographic restrictions using VPN services will be considered a violation of these Terms.”

However, despite its classification of Russia as a restricted jurisdiction, Predict operates a Russian-language channel and actively markets its services to Russian speaking users, raising questions about its approach to enforcing its own geographic restrictions.
