Raketech divests Casumba in €12M deal to strengthen AffiliationCloud strategy

Raketech has completed the sale of its Casumba assets in a €12m deal as it sharpens its focus on its core iGaming affiliation platform and reduces exposure to regulatory risks.

The transaction, signed and finalized on 24 September, involves no upfront cash payment.

Instead, the undisclosed buyer will pay in monthly instalments until December 2029, with an 8% interest rate applied. At closing, the deferred payment was valued at roughly €7m, with the €5m gap reflecting credit risk and the extended schedule.

Casumba, which generated annualised revenues of €4m and EBITDA of €2.9m based on Q2 2025 performance, has been divested as part of Raketech’s pivot toward sustainable, regulated growth.

The company expects to book a non-cash loss of around €10m in Q3 due to the difference between Casumba’s book value and the fair value of the agreed consideration. Raketech emphasized that this is a one-off accounting impact without any effect on cash flow or ongoing operations.

Johan Svensson, Raketech CEO, mentioned:

This sale marks another step in refining our portfolio and concentrating on our core goal of creating the top commercial platform for iGaming affiliation.

By divesting Casumba, we eliminate regulatory exposure and unlock resources for growth opportunities. This transaction reflects our dedication to sustainable shareholder value and financial discipline.

The company will now channel its efforts into AffiliationCloud, which it considers the cornerstone of its long-term growth strategy.

In Q2 2025, Raketech reported revenues of €7.8m, marking a 54% year-on-year decline, largely attributed to difficulties within its Paid Publisher Network and adjustments in Google’s advertising framework.

However, its main Affiliation Marketing division, excluding Casumba, saw a 5% quarter-on-quarter increase, highlighting the company’s pivot toward a platform-driven approach.
