Sports Information Services (SIS) has signed a long-term agreement with Betfred to broadcast its in-house TV channel from Media City UK, Salford.
The deal includes a major production upgrade, transitioning all coverage to HD while maintaining Betfred’s popular studio shows featuring Fred Done.
The partnership enhances Betfred’s broadcast flexibility and introduces an in-house podcast studio. Additionally, Betfred will continue to offer SIS’s extensive racing portfolio, including over 35,000 horse races from 170+ venues worldwide and 24,000 greyhound events annually from the UK and Ireland.
Mark Pearson, Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications at Betfred, mentioned:
We value our long-term partnership with SIS and this new agreement will continue to help bring our brand to life and communicate our unique offers to our customers. Our racing proposition will be even better as we become the first bookmaker on the High Street to broadcast in full HD.
Paul Witten, Managing Director EMEA at SIS, added:
We are pleased to enhance our long-standing partnership with Betfred. This agreement guarantees that Betfred’s UK retail customers will experience high-quality, engaging content in high-definition from around the world.
