SOFTSWISS to become the first certified software provider in Brazil

SOFTSWISS, a global iGaming technology leader with 15+ years of experience, is progressing toward certification of its Casino Platform and Sportsbook in Brazil.

The certification, conducted by an authorized lab, is underway, with SOFTSWISS sharing key insights on Brazil’s regulatory landscape.

After securing GLI-19 and GLI-33 certifications last year, SOFTSWISS is now focusing on Brazil’s unique regulatory demands, such as player registration, KYC protocols, and responsible gambling practices.

Co-CEO Andrey Starovoitov views Brazil as a promising market, noting the government’s commitment to balancing responsible gambling with business interests. A standout feature is Brazil’s robust registration process, requiring players to provide a verified CPF number, enhancing security and reducing fraud.

Brazil’s regulatory framework also emphasizes stringent KYC protocols, likely introducing additional verification steps for user actions like password resets. This ensures higher security and compliance.

Responsible gambling remains a top priority, with SOFTSWISS well-prepared to meet these requirements. The company has already helped operators secure €6 million through its Anti-Fraud team in H1 2024 and has earned industry recognition for its commitment to player safety.

To bolster its presence in Brazil, SOFTSWISS appointed legendary F1 driver Rubens Barrichello as Non-Executive Director for Latin America. His expertise and local knowledge will support SOFTSWISS in navigating the Brazilian market.
