The Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA) has reinstated five operator licences after the companies submitted the required technical documents.
The suspensions, initially reported last Friday, were due to the operators’ failure to provide security assessment reports for their betting systems, as mandated by Normative Ordinance No. 722.
On Monday, Logame do Brasil Ltda and Sortenabet Gaming Brasil SA had their licences restored after submitting the necessary evaluations. The ordinance requires operators to submit certified reports on their betting systems within 90 days of receiving a licence.
Last week, EA Entretenimento e Esportes and Bet.Bet Soluções Tecnológicas SA quickly complied with the rule, while Pixbet secured a court injunction to regain its licence due to its sponsorship of Flamengo football club – unlicensed brands cannot sponsor sports events in Brazil.
As of now, only Bell Ventures Digital Ltda and Betesporte Online Betting Ltda remain suspended. The reinstatement allows brands under Logame do Brasil – LiderBet, GeralBet, and B2xBet – and Sortenabet – SorteNaBet, Betou, and BetFusion – to resume operations.
