Sportradar releases athlete wellbeing resources in new video

Sportradar has recently released a video covering the effects of sports betting on athletes.

The video is chiefly aimed at Sportradar’s sports league associates and is available free of charge. It details the various possible impacts regulated sports betting can have on an athlete’s mental health and demonstrates the firm’s dedication to supporting people in the sports and wagering industry.

The video features a couple of the Athlete Wellbeing initiative’s partners, who are highly skilled in the responsible wagering and mental health fields. Additionally, it also features a number of current and retired professional athletes, namely Garett Whitlock, Lindsay Tarpley Snow and Connor McCaffery.

Offering resources to help championship organizers in the education of athletes about various mental wellbeing risks stemming from sports wagering, the program aims to achieve Sportradar’s long-term sports integrity goals through education.
