BETBY recently hosted a charity auction to celebrate its fifth anniversary.
The sports wagering supplier has donated the proceeds of the auction to a Latvian community center, the Common Ground. The company has also doubled the raised amount to further expand its positive impact. BETBY initially started working with the charity earlier in the year as the company sought to provide assistance to Ukrainian refugees in Riga by helping them integrate into their new environments and providing various teaching programs.
The auction offered its participants the opportunity to win one of a set of unique experiences, which included a speedboat ride with the CCO of BETBY, Chris Nikolopoulos, and a wine tasting session with the company’s COO, Eva Berkova.
On the day of the auction, the company also held a series of online meetings with its staff to outline BETBY’s future expansion plans and hear any questions or concerns. The provider then awarded its longest-serving employees who have been with the brand over its half-decade-long journey with a trophy, commemorating their contributions and providing a further testament to BETBY’s people-first culture.
