Gaming Innovation Group has partnered with Betsson to supply its services to the latter’s Columbian division.
Betsson, based in Sweden, is one of Europe’s largest gambling operators. The company has been growing steadily in the Latin American market over the past years, as last year they took over one of Columbia’s largest operators, Colbet. Partnering with the Gaming Innovation Group, the operator is further expanding their presence in the growing market.
Similar to the bookmaker, GiG also has a distinct presence in the country, as it’s one of the fastest growing markets in the world. The partnership with Betsson is already the provider’s third one in the region and more expected to be on their way.
The deal was first set in motion about a year ago, and now has been signed for at least two years, with the parties rumored to extend it after the initial term.
The group’s subsidiary that is going to be working with the operator the most, Sportnco, has put out a statement, expressing the corporation’s delight to be working with the betting company, adding that the collaboration will help establish a foothold in the Latin American market for both companies. The operating firm stated a similar excitement to work with the provider, mentioning their long history of working together.
In conclusion, the two firms will be cooperating to expand into the rapidly growing market of Columbia.
