Nuvei recently announced the appointment of two key people from iGaming and tech industries to its board.
Nuvei, the digital and online payments company has announced it will be welcoming two new people to its board of directors. Soon to be expanded to eight members, the board will welcome Tim Dent and Maren Lau as independent directors.
Tim Dent was the lead financial executive and compliance officer of the sports betting corporation DraftKings. Boasting more than two decades of experience in the field, he helped his latest employer expand into the American market post-2018.
Maren Lau, on the other hand, was the vice president of Meta in the Latin American region. Her role at the tech giant was to facilitate various businesses to leverage her employer’s platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook. Additionally, before working as VP, she worked as the principal marketing specialist at a company that was a result of a partnership involving another tech giant, Sony.
Alongside the announcement, the company also stated that it’s delighted to have the two experts onboard, as its growth strategies heavily involve the fields that they are experienced in.
