PAGCOR launches site to verify licensed gaming operators

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has launched a new website called the “PAGCOR Guarantee,” designed to help users confirm if an online gaming platform holds a legitimate license.

Introduced on 18 June, the site features a list of licensed operators along with direct links to their official websites.

Alejandro H. Tengco, PAGCOR Chairman and CEO, mentioned:

This new website will help our players easily identify and verify whether the online gaming sites are duly licensed before playing or making any payments.

By providing the public with a quick and accessible way to check a site’s legitimacy, we are empowering them to make informed decisions and avoid falling victim to fraudsters and scammers.

Illegal online gaming sites not only endanger players but also erode public trust and deprive the government of vital revenues.

He mentioned that the agency has seen a rise in complaints about platforms withholding player winnings.

The PAGCOR Guarantee is part of a wider effort by the regulator to enhance player protection and encourage responsible gaming. The site will be updated regularly to keep users informed about the current licensing status of operators, ensuring access to accurate and trustworthy information.
