Polymarket and OneFootball partner to bring prediction markets to global football fans

Prediction market platform Polymarket has partnered with football media company OneFootball to integrate forecasting tools into one of the sport’s largest digital ecosystems, expanding access to prediction markets for mainstream football audiences.

OneFootball will include Polymarket prediction technology throughout its platform, which has hundreds of millions of fans through the app, social media and the OneFootball media network. Users will have the ability to engage with prediction-based experiences in context with live scores, news, betting related content, guides, and odds information.

According to OneFootball’s CEO Patrick Fischer, the company is working to provide more interactive experiences for football fans as they want to play a role in the action as opposed to only consuming it; therefore, engagement has become a higher priority.

OneFootball’s larger strategy to provide more Web3 opportunities is also extending with this integration. Fischer noted that the integration is also part of their blockchain initiatives, which include the recent launch of OneFootball Credits (OFC).

The integration of Polymarket into OneFootball’s platform gives football fans yet another opportunity to interact with the sport through new ways outside of just scores, news, and match coverage.
