Alex Bukin, previously the General Manager of ReferOn, has successfully completed a buyout of the affiliate management platform and will serve as CEOof ReferOn.
Along with Bukin’s promotion to CEO, Vlad Bondarenko has moved from Head of Product to Chief Product Officer and David Harris has transitioned from Operations Lead to Chief Operations Officer.
Alex Bukin said in a LinkedIn post:
This transition marks a pivotal shift toward independent expansion. My primary focus is to provide the long-term strategic stability required to advance our technology and strengthen ReferOn’s market position. The acquisition allows for total autonomy in defining our product direction and scaling our operations across key markets. Our commitment remains firm: to empower operators with high-performance, transparent tools and to deliver the next generation of affiliate management solutions.
The buyout follows a strong growth period for the company. During its first year, ReferOn recorded 35.7 million clicks, 2.4 million registrations, 18,000 affiliates and 136,000 active trackers.
The transaction represents ReferOn’s efforts to begin a new phase of independent growth. In addition, the company’s existing management team will remain to assist with a seamless transition due to their prior knowledge of ReferOn.
As part of its growth plan, ReferOn continues to rollout new tools and upgrades including Refie and features such as dynamic reporting, company grouping, sub-affiliation, independent deal calculations, two-factor authentication and complete mobile optimisation.
