Rhode Island online casinos hit highest revenue in October

Rhode Island Lottery reported $75.1 million in online casino wagers for October – that’s the second-highest after September’s $80.8 million. The iGaming revenue rose 2.6% to a record $3.2 million.

Year-over-year comparisons are unavailable since online casino gaming only launched in Rhode Island through Bally’s in March. Meanwhile, the state’s two land-based casinos – Bally’s Twin River and Bally’s Tiverton reported mixed outcomes for October.

The VLT revenue reached $41.4 million, with Twin River contributing $31.5 million, approximately 76% of the total. This represents a 3.6% increase from September’s $39.9 million but a 2% decline from October 2023’s $42.2 million.

October’s table game revenue reached $9.9 million, a 12.2% decrease from September’s $11.2 million and a 3.2% decline compared to the last year. Twin River brought in $7.8 million and Tiverton earned $2.1 million.
