In Q4, Spain’s online gambling revenue saw a slight uptick year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter, reaching €315.3m. Total deposits also saw an increase.
Gross gaming revenue for Q4 edged up by 0.6% compared to the same period in 2022 and rose by 3.6% from the preceding quarter. Casino gaming dominated the revenue landscape during Q4, contributing significantly to the overall market.
The casino segment emerged as the primary revenue driver during Q4, with total revenue hitting €171.3m, constituting 54.3% of Spain’s market revenue. This growth was fueled by a 25.9% surge in slots revenue and a 15.3% increase in live roulette revenue.
Sports betting revenue stood at €114.7m, comprising 36.4% of the total revenue, while poker accounted for €25.4m, representing 8.1% of the overall revenue. Poker tournaments experienced a slight decrease of 0.5%, whereas poker cash saw a 7.0% increase.
Additionally, €3.8m in revenue originated from bingo activity, making up 1.2% of the total revenue, while contests contributed €50,000.
