Super Group revenue falls 11% in Q3 despite year-on-year growth

During the third quarter of 2026 Super Group’s revenue growth slowed down. Betway and Spin operator still continued to deliver year-on-year gains in revenue and profitability.

In Q3 revenue reached $611m, down 11% from the record $684m reported in Q2 but 10% higher than the corresponding period in 2025. Even though the decline Super Group increased its profits by 15% quarter-on-quarter and more than 48% year-on-year.

The group now expects full-year adjusted EBITDA of between $700m and $720m, compared with its previous forecast of more than $710m. Adjusted EBITDA reached $165m in Q3, down from $204m in the previous quarter. The figure represented an 8% increase compared with Q3 2025.

Super Groups CEO Neal Menashe said the slightly weaker outlook could be connected to customer-friendly sports results, which affected the group’s performance during the quarter.

He said:

Casino provides a durable earnings base that allows us to absorb short-term sports volatility.

Alinda van Wyk, Super Group’s CFO, added:

Casino gross revenue increased 16%, while our long-term sports margin remains within our expected structural range.

$150m share buyback program

Super Groups announced about $150m share buyback program, which will be carried over the next 14 months. Van Wyk said the program reflected the group’s confidence in its long-term value.

The operator reported $602m in cash and cash equivalents as of 30 September. Investors responded positively to the announcement on 30 October, with Super Group’s share price increasing by more than 7% over the following five days. The stock also reported 3% gain.

Africa accounts for 43% of segment revenue

Africa has been one of the key regions in terms of Super Group’s earnings, as it has contributed $262 million in revenue during Q3, 17% higher than $224 million in the year-ago period.

This is about 43% of the total segment revenue of $606 million for the period.

Revenue growth in Africa has outpaced that of the International Segment, which includes operations in the Americas, Europe, and other regions, with revenue rising 5% YoY.

With strong cash reserves and low debt, Super Group has secured its position as a strong international betting and gaming operator.
