Checkd Group, a technology-driven sports betting specialist, has launched a new digital PR team aimed at amplifying its organic search performance in key markets.

At the helm is James Dixon, appointed as Head of Digital PR for Checkd Media, the group’s content and marketing division. Tasked with leading this initiative, Dixon’s team will focus on elevating the presence of proprietary brands such as Footy Accumulators, The Winners Enclosure, and FlashPicks across the UK, US, Canada, and South America. Additionally, the team will extend its digital PR services to partners, offering a comprehensive performance marketing solution.

This strategic move underscores Checkd’s commitment to bolstering its brands, with organic performance as a central driver of traffic and revenue. Leveraging Dixon’s decade-long tenure as a journalist in the iGaming industry, including successful stints at BonusFinder, the company aims to capitalize on his expertise in global markets.

Joining Dixon are George Rogan and Liam Conroy, who assume roles as Digital PR Managers, along with Charlie Giblin, appointed as Digital PR Executive, further reinforcing the team. These additions follow the recent appointments of Rob Cable as PPC Manager and George Webb as Head of SEO, reflecting Checkd’s concerted efforts to fortify its presence in both the UK and US markets.
