Genius Sports raises 2026 outlook after strong Q2 performance

Genius Sports has once again raised its revenue and income guidance for the entire year 2026 with the performance results for the second quarter.

Genius Sports earned $195.5 million in revenues in the three-month period of Q2. It reflected a 65% increase year-on-year and exceeding initial estimates of $185 million. Adjusted EBITDA hit $52.6 million, while net loss increased mainly due to rising expenses and tax fees.

Due to strong performances, Genius Sports increased its the expected revenues for the 2026 from $1.01-$1.03 billion.

Advertisers are placing greater value on our combination of official data and audience, prediction markets are opening an entirely new avenue for growth, and our core betting business continues to outperform. As we continue to scale GeniusIQ, that foundation positions Genius to deliver durable long-term growth, profitability and cash generation. In our first quarter as a combined business, we exceeded guidance on revenue, adjusted EBITDA and cash, raised our full-year outlook, and are already seeing the benefits of the Legend integration.

The fastest-growing revenue segment Q2 was Media Technology, Content & Services with $78.2 million in revenues. The largest revenue segment for the company is Betting Technology, Content & Services with provided $117.4 million provided (28% increase YoY).

Despite impressive revenue growth, the high operating expenses made negative effect on profitability and the operating loss decreased, constituting $55.7 million compared to $80.7 million a year before.

Genius also announced new partnerships with Liga MX, the Swiss Football League, and prediction market platforms Polymarket and Kalshi.

In the first half of 2026, Genius Sports revenues were $383.5 million or by 46% higher than during the same period of the previous year.
