Playtech reported a strong first half of 2026 with revenues rising 10% to €425.1 million while revenue grew by 77% to €162.5 million.
B2B segment was the biggest contributor as revenues increased by 14% year-on-year to €394.8 million or 17% on an underlying basis. Adjusted EBITDA grew by 75% to €128.1 million, with the unit margin expanding to 32% from 21%.
Regulated markets contributed 83% of B2B revenues. The firm’s SaaS revenues grew by 20% and reached €69 million which accounted for 17% of B2B revenues and supported over 2,000 brands and around 80 licensees. During the period, cash flow generation increased significantly too up to €101 million after being only €6.6 million during the previous H1.
Playtech reported that B2C revenue dropped by 22% to €32 million as it progressed with the exit from HAPPYBET. Nevertheless, the segment also managed to post a modest profit in the form of an Adjusted EBITDA of €0.2 million compared to an adjusted EBITDA loss of €1.5 million recorded a year earlier.
Playtech kept its guidance unchanged for the full-year with expectations of Adjusted EBITDA exceeding €270 million, as well as announcing that it now estimates achieving adjusted EBITDA targets of €250-300 million, as well as free cash flows between €70 million and €100 million much earlier than previously anticipated.
According to Playtech Chief Executive Officer Mor Weizer, the results in the first half exceeded expectations due to the fact that the markets remained strong and the outcome from the investments was growing.
