Nils Andén apponted as interim CEO of Kindred Group

Kindred Group has officially declared the immediate resignation of the company’s Chief Executive Henrik Tjärnström, as confirmed by the company’s Board. Taking immediate effect, Nils Andén has been assigned as a temporary CEO.

Nils Andén mentioned:

I am eagerly anticipating the unique chance to collaborate with our esteemed Board, and all the dedicated people to push our company towards its targets. Becoming part of Kindred back in 2020 as its CCO, my previous experiences were Head of Poker, Head of Established Markets, and CMO for Unibet, which definitely have given me invaluable insights. I strongly believe in Kindred and now I am filled with confidence in its boundless huge perspective.

Henrik Tjärnström expressed:

I think the Board’s selection of Nils Andén as Kidnred’s temporary Chief Executive is a right choice.

He emphasized his confidence in the decision, highlighting that such action will facilitate a smooth handover of responsibilities.

Evert Carlsson, Kindred’s Board Chairman, conveyed his sentiments, stating:

Henrik’s leadership has guided our company through numerous significant milestones, leaving an indelible mark on both the Company’s experience and the industry as a whole. I would like to express our thankfulness to Henrik for his dedication to Kindred’s success during his tenure as CEO. We hope he succeeds in all of his activities moving forward.

Carlsson further expressed their satisfaction and anticipation in assigning Nils Andén to the position for a temporary period, saying, that the Board is delighted and enthusiastic about Nils Andén assigning the role. Nils possesses priceless knowledge of Kindred’s operations, having cooperated with Henrik. The Board thinks that Nils is the best candidate to fill this post at this crucial period for Kindred.
